This season’s Edition by Georges Chakra Fall Winter 2015-2016 ready to wear collection is inspired by the warrior wardrobe. Straps, cut-outs, corset laces, and buckles dominate the collection, highlighting the strength and confidence of the Georges Chakra woman. From show stopping long crepe and velvet gowns with sequined or glittered straps, sculpted satin and fully beaded gowns, to statement mini and midi dresses, Chakra’s designs highlight the architecture of the body creating bold accents and contemporary looks. The rich colors this season evoke deep strength and sensuality, going through the spectrum of dark green, bold navy, royal blue, true red, aubergine, mauve, and metallic greige and silver. The print provokes the senses and creates a subtle mystery with clouds of red and grey, navy and violet, black and marigold, blue petrol and dark green.
