Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Make-up, has designed a luminous look using a range of delicate shades of pink. Over the seasons this pure beauty has become a signature look for his work with Raf Simons for the House of Dior runway shows.
Peter Philips explains: «I wanted to create a very “glowy” makeup look, based on an idea of transparency and softness, in harmony with the pastel tones in Raf Simons’ collection. It’s diaphanous beauty with a hint of hidden eroticism. The look echoes the poetic décor where a mass of fresh flowers creates an extraordinary garden.»

Complexion: Diorskin Star fluid foundation, a few touches of Skinflash to highlight places that catch the light, and Fix it for slight corrections. On the cheekbones, Diorskin Nude n°001 Glowing Gardens Glowing Pink and a touch of Diorblush n°844 Glowing Gardens Floral Pink.

Eyes: eyelids were made-up using 5 Couleurs n°451 Glowing Gardens palette, and Diorshow Colour and Contour n°757 Orchid. Eyebrows were emphasized with Sourcils Poudre n°453 Soft Brown eye brow pencil and tamed with Diorshow Brow Styler.

Lips: «Lips were soft, first hydrated using Dior Addict Lip Glow n°001 Pommade, then heightened with Dior Addict Lipstick n°266 Delight, a fresh and radiant pink that added pretty, natural shine.»
