In addition to the beautiful landscape of mountains and valleys that Lebanon offers to tourists as well as expatriates, there are also restaurants and night clubs where you can go out to have fun and change atmosphere. In your opinion, where do famous people go in Lebanon, what do they think of the nightlife? That’s what we tried to discover with two celebrities, Karol Sakr and Wissam Hanna.

She started a musical career in the 80s, singing in English. She was the singer of «Zed» that she founded with composer Hadi Sharara. Together they made an album «Away» in the 90s. From a musical duo, they formed a duo in life by getting married. In 2006, Hadi Sharara arranged the songs of the album Daët Albak which was a great success.
When you feel like shopping, do you have specific addresses or you buy at your walks? I always intend to buy what attracts me inside the store, regardless of the brand, the name or reputation of the shop. I wear what suits me, whether a piece at $ 20 or more. So, wherever I go, if I find something to my taste, I buy it…
What is your favorite pub for a night out? We do not go out much because of the nature of Hadi’s work. He works mostly at night in the production and arrangement of songs for various artists. And Saturdays when he is free, the last thing he needs is to listen to loud music. So we spend our Saturdays to order dishes lazing around some DVDs. However we catch up when we travel…
Do you have a favorite restaurant? Which one? For fish and seafood we go to the restaurant le Péché, for international cuisine, the Provincia, and to eat Lebanese, we love Kababji; but our favorite cuisine is Indian cuisine, so we look forward to travel to Cyprus to go to Masalas, our number 1 restaurant.
«In Lebanon, we lack morality»
In your opinion, what is missing in Lebanon that one can easily find abroad? Morality … We are too busy with the lure of material gain to the extent that we destroyed our ethics …
You prefer to go out as a couple, with friends, family? I love hanging out with friends, but I prefer to make the most of the outings by holding them with my family. I married early, and I have not really had the chance to enjoy my family. I do not want that to happen to my children…

Wissam Hanna became known in 2005 through his election during the competition for the title of Mr Lebanon. In 2006, he won, becoming the first Lebanese Mr. International. He then started an acting career playing in several Lebanese soap operas, and being the image of the brand Fiordelli for men clothing. Currently he hosts a show on LBC every Friday night.
When you feel like shopping, do you have specific addresses or you buy at your walks? I wait to travel for shopping, I do not attach much importance to brands, what interests me is to bring new pieces that suit me. For my work, TV shows and soap operas, I wear Fiordelli because I represent this brand since several years.
What is your favorite pub for a night out? The two pubs that I prefer are the B018 and the Music Hall outdoors, but I do not go out much at night.
Do you have a favorite restaurant? Which one? I love Lebanese food, particularly Em Shérif, a very nice restaurant in Lebanon to taste Lebanese mezzes.
«In Lebanon, Green areas lack to do sports and relax.»
In your opinion, what is missing in Lebanon that one can easily find abroad? In Lebanon two very important things are missing, metro and means of transport that exist abroad and greatly facilitate the lives of citizens. We also lack green areas for jogging and sports.
You prefer to go out as a couple, with friends, family? I like quietness and prefer to go out in couple, except on Sundays, I like being with family.
