Created with this idea of freedom of movement, the dresses of the Spring-Summer 2018 collection are designed for a long silhouette, incredibly refined and graceful. Soft and aerial silk chiffons, satins, tulle and lace, declined in light pink and pastel colors, tumble in sinuous drapes along feminine lines adjusted to the waist and the hips.
The bare shoulders or highlighted by fine scintillating embroidery, associated with plunging and slightly revealing necklines, play on the chic sophistication of feminine forms. The bouquets of opulent feathers that sublimate the skirts of the dresses stir at the least breath.
Drawing on the major artistic movement of the 1920s, with a modern approach to design, Elie Saab uses Art Deco inspired motifs on his evening gowns.
