HE Herath-Wijeratne Mendis, ambassador of Sri Lanka to Lebanon, offered a reception at the diplomatic residence in Baabda, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the Republic independence. Diplomatic, political, personalities from the media, the business world and socialites shared the happiness of the ambassador in this day of national pride, in a friendly atmosphere. Traditional dishes were presented to the guests who were able to taste the culinary specialties of Sri Lanka.
