The Jounieh Summer Festival committee announced its second edition’s program in partnership with Synopsis Events, and in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Jounieh. The Festival will be held at the Holy Spirit University, Kaslik campus, between June 16 and July 29.
This year’s Festival schedule will include four outstanding shows:
Saturday, June 16: Il Divo, a multi-national classical crossover vocal group known for his operatic pop. Since its inception, Il Divo has enjoyed success worldwide, selling well over 30 million copies of its albums worldwide. With 160 certified gold and platinum hits in 35 different countries, it pioneered the genre of operatic pop, or “popera”, in classical crossover music.
Friday, June 22: The legendary French singer and songwriter Julien Clerc will perform a historic concert entitled “La Tournée des 50 ans” which will feature his biggest hits of the past 50 years. A must see!
Saturday, June 23: Lebanese star and “king of romance” Wael Kfoury will perform his only concert in the Mount Lebanon region this year at the Jounieh Summer Festival.
Friday, June 29: British singer and songwriter James Arthur who won the ninth series of The X Factor in 2012 and who’s is considered as one of the most important singers among Lebanon’s younger generation. Most of his songs made it to the international Top 20 and his songs are among the most streamed songs in Lebanon.
