The Lebanese designer Elie Saab and his wife Claudine celebrated the wedding of their eldest son, Elie Saab Junior with Miss Christina Mourad.
The Religious Ceremony
On July 19th, the couple tied the knot in a religious ceremony in Bkerke held by the Patriarch, Bechara Boutros al-Rahi. A vin d’honneur organized by Neiman Azzi followed the ceremony. The bride, Christina wore an ELIE SAAB Haute Couture custom sleeveless tulle embroidered gown made of ivory silk and champagne lurex threads, embellished with 500.000 sequins, a high neck bodice, and a 4.5 meters trail.
The Wedding Evening Party
In the evening, the wedding celebration, organized by Ziad Raphael Nassar, took place in Faqra Club. 1.200 guests were invited. High profiles personalities, VIPs, celebrities and friends of the family were among the invitees. To name a few: Dita Von Teese, Chantal Thomass, Karolina Kurkova, Nadine Labaki, Toni Garrn, Lily Donaldson, Elissa, Nancy Ajram, and Assi Hellani.
Christina opted for ELIE SAAB Haute Couture gold and beige rosé heart shape corset gown, with a voluminous skirt and a 3.5 meters trail. The gown is embellished with 650.000 gold sequins and 150.000 Swarovski strass pieces.
At the Eve of the wedding, on July 18th, a themed Oriental pre-party at the Plateau de Bakish started the festivities. Christina wore a cream jumpsuit with a gold cape from the Haute Couture FW 19/20 collection.
Party in Faqra
A party at Mr. Elie Saab’s residence in Faqra on Saturday 20th ended the festivities. From sunset to sunrise, under the infinite shades of the blue summer sky. The bride wore an aquamarine flowing silk georgette full-length dress, embellished with a coral shaped brooch from the ELIE SAAB Haute Couture SS 2019 collection.
