Launched during Dubai Watch Week 2021, The Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” is deeply rooted in H. Moser & Cie. history. Paying tribute to the pivotal period in its founder Heinrich Moser’s career when he became one of the preeminent watchmakers in Russia, it draws it’s inspiration from some of the historical pieces and converted pocket-watches found in the Moser Family Museum in Schaffhausen.
The Heritage collection is undoubtedly traditional, with a look inspired by pocket watches which were converted into wristwatches in the early 1920s using fine attachments. With the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” limited edition, H. Moser & Cie. is pushing this historical aspect even further, by adorning the fumé dial of this creation with its Cyrillic logo, as was occasionally used in the era of the company’s illustrious founder, Heinrich Moser. For the case of this model, the Schaffhausen-based brand uses, for the first time, bronze, a material which changes over time, becoming ever more beautiful as the patina develops. Showcasing a rounded design with classic touches, the case features tapered lugs and a large notched crown.
The Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” model is powered by the HMC 200 movement, visible behind the sapphire case-back. This calibre, entirely designed, developed and produced in-house, is equipped with a regulating organ manufactured by H. Moser & Cie.’s sister company, Precision Engineering AG. Decorated with the famous Moser double stripes, the HMC 200 calibre offers a minimum power reserve of three days.
Limited to 50 pieces, the Heritage Bronze “Since 1828” is available exclusively online, on the sales platforms of H. Moser & Cie. and Seddiqi, partner and long-time friend of the brand.
