Coline Designs concept creator and Founder Pauline Jabr, transformed her passion for fashion and jewelry, into creating conceptual unique accessories and establishing her own label.

Can you tell us about your background? After studying advertising and Art Direction in Balamand University and several years of experience in graphic Design, I decided to plunge in the world of fashion accessories. I attended a «fashion illustration workshop» in college of fashion (UAL) in London, I also pursued a fashion and design course in pattern making in Ecole Supérieure des Arts et techniques de la mode (ESMOD) in Beirut.
Can you tell us about your collections? My aim is to create timeless fashion jewelry pieces with statement. I start by creating a concept, finding inspiration from every day’s elements of life, with carefully-created lines and collections that are integrated within a major direction, such as «Beirut Girl», a modern arabesque line of vibrant and colorful elements with Arabic messages and «Color Crave» another line that focuses on different geometric shapes combining both contemporary and classic styles. In addition to «Change», a limited edition line with transformational concept where common mundane daily objects are re-purposed into beautiful and out-of-the-box pieces of jewelry.
As an overall, the collections range from classical original style to eccentric taste suitable for daily usage, as well as for special occasions.
After opening your first boutique at Le Mall Dbayeh, what are your plans for the future? I am launching the 2017 Fall/Winter collection featuring new creative purses/handbags for ladies, in addition to introducing a new line for men that includes cufflinks, bracelets and rings with my signature style. Also I am planning to open future branches after the first boutique opened in Le Mall Dbayeh Level 1. Interview Conducted by Rita Saadé
