Award-winner singer Tania Kassis performed for President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump at the Kuwait-America Foundation gala dinner hosted by the Ambassador of Kuwait Sheikh Salem al Sabah and his wife Shaikha Rima al Sabah at their embassy residence.
The gala event was for UNHCR and honored First Lady Melania Trump. Among the distinguished guests were the President’s daughter Ivanka Trump, United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres who delivered a special remark and United States Secretary of Treasury Steven Mnuchin.
Tania Kassis performed a selection of songs and launched at the occasion her new song «Land For All» (english adaptation of her arabic song «Al Ardou Lil Jami3») produced in collaboration with the United Nations with the support of the Ousseimi Foundation, Arope Insurance, BankMed and Libank. A copy of the song was offered to all the distinguished guests at the end of the event.
President Donald Trump stood at the end of Tania Kassis’ performance and congratulated her saying «You are awesome!» and First Lady Melania Trump also kissed her saying «It was sooo beautiful».
