An ode to Christian Dior couture
“I wanted to create each piece like the dresses that Christian Dior designed as an Architect, as if the jewels were sculpted fabric, pleated, belted, draped …” said Victoire de Castellane, Dior jewelry designer. In fact, each piece of the collection Archi Dior borrows the name of a line or an iconic dress, adapting the particular movement of fabrics to the language of fine jewelry. One by one, the pieces of this new jewelry collection display their precious pleated with a jeweled belt or spin slightly, to show the ruffle petticoat of rubies. Jewelry parading as prom dresses. By realizing the new collection Archi Dior, Victoire de Castellane has managed the transmutation of fabric in gemstones, and haute couture in fine jewelry.

Each collection was for Christian Dior, who
became designer after dreaming of being architect, the opportunity to create a new architecture:
Head, Vertical, Zig-Zag…
The dresses were designed as building fabric, rigorously structured.
