The 71st edition of Cannes Film Festival was opened on May 8th and will run until Saturday May 19, 2018. The actress Cate Blanchett, president of the jury for this edition, declared together with Martin Scorsese the beginning of the festival during the opening ceremony.
The Jounieh Summer Festival committee announced its second edition’s program in partnership with Synopsis Events, and in cooperation with the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism and the Municipality of Jounieh.
The Murex d’Or ceremony, established in 2000 by Helou brothers Fadi and Zahi, celebrates Lebanese artists in different categories, honoring them with excellence prizes for their career.
